Obama Tweets

Maybe I am the last to know, but Obama (or his assistant?) tweets on Twitter.  For the inauguration, he has set up a special feed here.  The Guardian today has a nice piece on accessing updates on the inauguration  called Obama inauguration: where to find coverage online.  He is all over Web 2.0: Facebook, YouTube, you name it.  His inauguration blog is here.

If you are still teetering (rather than twittering), Copyblogger has a number of posts on the merits of using Twitter for marketing, adding value, and tracking words or concepts that you find interesting.

This post contains the following nugget: “Twitter is best when you’re engaging your followers rather than updating them with the mundane details of your life.”  I shall try not to take the question ‘what are you doing?’ too literally when updating.
