WHO to whip science into shape

In Uncategorized on June 11, 2008 by Danielle Tagged: , , , ,

Along the same lines as news stories needing to be accurate, there is a survey put on by the WHO, about reporting the findings of clinical trials and about the need for results to be publicly available. Currently we are faced with difficulties with bias in negative findings being underreported (i.e. ABC drug was NOT found to be clinically effective…) and positive findings tend to draw a lot of focus.

If you’d like to participate, you have until the 27th of June.
The WHO survey is here.

We all know how difficult it is to find things that are out there in some way–that are in grey literature or badly indexed–thoughts for a future survey perhaps?
